The Cheesy Cheeseburger at Happy Cafe is an awesome creation, and shouldn’t be missed on the Southside Virginia Cheeseburger tour. The meat is very fresh, and I am not totally sure, but I think they add cheese to the meat before cooking, then throw some cheese on top, add fresh topping and a nice bun, and you have a great cheeseburger. The potato salad was on par with the burger… Save some room for desert, aka graduate donuts, served about a dozen different ways, so save room for desert.
We had a good time at the Happy Cafe, as the staff is attentive, funny and engaging, this will be a stop when I am hungry in Blackstone
